Community Meal
Fourth Wednesday every month at Luverne UMC
Since July of 2014, our church & various organizations have been preparing and serving special meals beginning at 5:30 pm on the Fourth Wednesday of every month to all who would like a special place to meet friends, visit & share some great food!
In listening to those who joined us on Christmas Eve 2013 and other voices in the community, it was felt it was time to move forward & begin offering food & fellowship on a more regular basis. What a wonderful opportunity to be the hands & feet of God in this special community, what a wonderful way to come together & visit!
All & everyone is encouraged to attend! If you or your group would like to provide the gift of a meal, or portions of it…

The Mission
With increased need for emergency food supplies in the Rock County area, an emergency food shelf has been established. Utilizing and bringing together the county resources, the RCEFS provides food assistance to individuals & families.

How does a person help the food shelf?
Rock County churches & civic organizations regularly collect donations of food &/or money for RCEFS.

Started by local churches, RCEFS is dependent upon churches, civic organizations, local businesses, social service agencies, & concerned individuals for donation of food & money. We need the involvement of the entire county to keep RCEFS working & providing emergency food to our neighbors.
AA Meetings are held Wednesdays & Saturdays in the Upper Room at 8pm
NA Meetings are held Thursdays
in the Upper Room at 8pm
